I have noticed that one of my posts has - overwhelmingly - the most number of hits on my blog. It's the post I did last Holiday season on Two Turtledoves, as part of my study of The Twelve Days of Christmas.
Does anyone have any insight to offer as to the reason that this post gets so many hits? On the little ticker to the right...and down...you can see from what part of the world my visitors are coming, and on what posting they "land." You'll notice, as well, that lots of them hit upon the turtledoves.
Am I missing something about turtledoves? I mean...they're nice and all...but come on! And I know it's not my recipe for pear salad...

I think maybe it's people wanting to know what a turtle dove is... that's my guess =)
ReplyDeleteI have just arrived at your blog - ... I was looking up 'eye of partridge' knitted sock heel images on Google. I flicked through several pics and eventually landed on your page,,, probably a turtle dove page..
